Perspectives on Synodality: Local, Global, and Ecumenical

Sep 2, 2022

“A synodal Church is a Church which listens” to each other “and all listening to the Holy Spirit.” – Pope Francis

In preparation for 2023’s Synod of Bishops – “For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation and Mission” – the Catholic Church is engaging in an extensive process of mutual listening and learning.

Our four speakers will explore what it means to be a synodal church that journeys or walks together from a variety of perspectives. These short presentations will be followed by a discussion among panelists and by an extended Q and A with audience members.

This discussion will be of interest to all those looking to learn more about the practical, theological and ecumenical dimensions of synodality and the prophetic calling of the entire people of God.
