Join us this fall for the inaugural Dr. Vincent Paul Sweeney Lecture in Medical Ethics, an annual event honouring Dr. Vincent Paul Sweeney’s legacy and exploring contemporary issues in medical bioethics through the lens of Catholic social teaching and Christian moral tradition. Hosted by St. Mark’s College at UBC, the lecture will bring together leading scholars, healthcare professionals, students, and community members for meaningful dialogue on ethics, human dignity, and compassionate healthcare. The lecture is free to attend thanks to the generosity of donors. Guests are invited to support the growing endowment fund to help sustain this lecture series for future generations.
