I was born in the lower mainland in 1957 to parents who were very active parishioners of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. All my sacraments were celebrated in our Church. I served in a variety of capacities in our Church from alter server to parish pastoral council member. Then came the call to serve our Catholic community in a greater capacity - that of a deacon. I started my studies at St. Mark’s College in the winter of 2018 by joining cohort 3. What a learning curve for me since I had not been in academic studies since 1976. The greatest challenge was catching up with my cohort peers who were a year ahead. Although, the journey was uphill I would do it again because the courses have given me a greater insight to my faith and my relationship with God has deepened. I look forward to what God has planned for me in the future to feed his lambs. Thank you to St. Mark’s Instructors and staff as well as to my fellow cohort brothers for all your help and support.
