After twelve years as a successful high school science teacher and department head, Rose transitioned to the Superintendent’s Office (CISVA) to assume the role and responsibilities of an Educational Consultant for Secondary Schools. Now in her fifth year, she coordinates and/or facilitates varied professional development services (e.g. workshops, in-services on assessment for learning and curriculum development, networks, professional learning communities, etc…) for the six regional and three congregational high schools in the areas of best practice in curriculum and instruction. Notably she is the lead learner of the Assessment for Learning (AFL) community of high school teacher leaders. This has proved to be an exciting period in her career to learn with and from experienced and novice teachers. Blog : http://teachafl.wordpress.com/ [2] Twitter : @RosePillay1
