Loren holds Master degrees in Theology as well as in Counselling Psychology and English. Loren presently oversees student major research projects, Field Based seminars, and is the graduate student advisor. Prior to being invited to St. Mark’s College in 2004, Loren worked at Vancouver Community College as Department Head of Counselling, where he supervised Master degree practicums, provided support for special needs students, and specialized in crisis intervention and career counselling. For many years Loren provided on-going assistance to L’Arche Greater Vancouver, and occasionally facilitated gatherings for L’Arche National.
