Student Internships and Work Opportunities

The Dr. John Micallef Memorial Library has term positions as well as ongoing project opportunities available to students. All positions include task instruction and supervision under the Librarian.
 

Position Descriptions:

Library Assistant

The Library Assistant is responsible for assisting the librarian with circulation duties (checking the status of books, registering and checking patron cards, shelving and checking books on the shelves), collection development, and special events such as our biannual Theological Booksale.

This position is currently filled.

 

Volunteer Library Researcher/Documentarian

The Library holds many rare and old books in its non-circulating collection. The Library Research/Documentarian is responsible for researching rare book and special collections materials and documenting findings. This position is currently filled.

 

General Volunteer Positions

The Library participates actively in Saint Mark’s College and Corpus Christi College events, fundraisers, and student activities. There are ongoing job positions available for special events. Job postings are posted throughout the year on the Employment page [1].
