St. Mark’s College is a graduate theological college affiliated with UBC. The Principal of St. Mark’s College sits as a voting member on the UBC Senate, and St. Mark’s students are members of the UBC Alma Mater Society, UBC’s student union. St. Mark’s is also a founding member of the newly-formed Consortium of Theological Colleges at UBC.
Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (CISVA)
The CISVA and St. Mark’s are committed to working together to develop quality educational and formational opportunities for current and future teachers and administrators. Currently, CISVA teachers, principals and vice-principals can expect the following remunerations increases upon completions of their St. Mark’s program:
Move to the next category (excluding category 6) by successfully completing the St. Mark’s Graduate Certificate. A teacher who is already at Category 5 or 6 will receive an additional $2000 per year.
Move to the next category on the scale by completing a St. Mark’s Master of Arts degree. A teacher already at Category 6 will receive an additional $2000 per year.
Principals and Vice-Principals
Receive an additional $2000 per year by successfully completing the St. Mark’s Certificate or Master of Arts credential.
Catholic Independent Schools of the Diocese of Victoria (CISDV)
Teachers and administrators receive an additional $1000 per year by completing a St. Mark’s Graduate Certificate.
Teachers move to the next category by completing a St. Mark’s Master of Arts degree.
Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities of Canada (ACCUC)
St. Mark’s is a founding member of ACCUC, a group that represents Canada’s leading Catholic institutions of higher education.
