The Vancouver Sun has profiled Saint Mark’s alumnus Rennie Nahanee (Dipl. ‘15), a member of the first group of men to be ordained as deacons in the Archdiocese. Along with other diaconate candidates, Nahanee completed a course of study at Saint Mark’s, chosen by the Archdiocese to provide the theological formation for the Permanent Diaconate Program. Nahanee was recently appointed by Archbishop Miller to be a deacon at St. Paul’s Indian Catholic Church in North Vancouver. Read Douglas Todd’s story on Nahanee here.
