Library Services

The library is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm, with extended evening hours to 8pm on Fridays. Students, faculty and the public are welcome to use the library for quiet study.

 

Borrowing limit for all patrons

The Dr. John Micallef Memorial Library reserves the right to limit the amount of borrowable items to 10 per borrowing period for faculty, staff, students and community members. Library patrons have the right to exercise up to 2 renewals on their borrowed items to extend their borrowing period.

Registered students at any of the Theological Schools in the THEOLOG consortium: included in student fees
Staff and faculty at any of the Theological Schools in the THEOLOG consortium: free
Community Memberships: $30/year

As of March 1, 2013, Saint Mark’s College will be charging $30/year for Community Member library borrowing privileges. Community memberships entail patrons who are not registered students, staff or faculty at any of the consortia member schools (Saint Mark’s College, Regent College, Carey Theological School, and the Vancouver School of Theology) sharing the combined catalogue, THEOLOG.

 

A librarian is available to students for consultation, research help and essay preparation services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to 5pm, and Fridays from 4pm to 8pm. Students are welcome to drop by during office hours or make appointments for extended help.

 

 

The library has spacious tables and study carrels for silent study as well as computers which offer access to word processing programs and the Internet. Wireless Internet is available for students of Corpus Christi College and Saint Mark’s College.
