2011 - Summer (July-August) - MFST 500 Reading Film: A Christian Perspective

Motion pictures have an increasingly significant role in shaping and defining our culture and society. As the lingua franca of our time, they have become the primary arena for discovering and debating important moral, cultural and religious issues. Through lectures, screenings, and discussions, students are encouraged to approach motion pictures on the assumption that they disclose truth in their own right and thus qualify as valid conversation partners in dialogue with the Christian faith.
