2012 - Summer (Jul-Aug) - CALR 520 Catholic Leadership Theory and Praxis
The course presents an overview of the Catholic ministry leadership its theories and praxis. It leads the students into a deeper appreciation to the various ministries in the Church. Also, provides an opportunity to revisit and re-examine topics related to leadership and pedagogy including the challenges and best practices in ministry leadership.

2012 - Summer (Jul-Aug) - PAST 501 Introduction to Diaconal Ministry
The course presents an overview of the diaconal ministry, which leads the candidates into a reflective appreciation of the ministry as a “visible sign of the Church’s service to the world”. It also provides an opportunity for discernment in responding to the challenges of diaconal life and its commitment.

2012 - Summer (Jul-Aug) - THEO 501 Foundations of Theology
The course examines the nature of theology. It looks at revelation (Scripture and Tradition), spirituality, liturgy, philosophy including the role of faith and reason, and the human sciences. It reviews the major periods of history of the church and the role of the teaching office (Magisterium). It examines the importance of theology for the church and considers aspects of moral and pastoral concern.
2012 - Summer (Jul-Aug) - THEO 540 Liturgy and Sacraments
The course introduces the public prayer of the Church, the Sacraments and the liturgy of the hours. It includes the study of the Christian understanding of the liturgy, the sacraments in general and the sacraments of initiation and sacraments of healing from a biblical, historical, systematic, and pastoral perspective with attention to current issues in sacramental theology.
2012 - Summer (Jul-Aug) - SCRI 500 Introduction to the Old Testament
The course revisits the history of Salvation and the writing of the Bible: development of the Law. It includes the study and appreciation of the Historical Books, the Prophets, Psalms and Wisdom Literature.
